  • Brian Olson, PRC is a veteran project director with 15+ years of experience in key data processing positions at three different full-service marketing research firms.

While graduating Magna cum Laude with a BBA in Marketing with Honors in Business from The University of Memphis, Brian went to work for Etheridge Associates in Cordova. Becoming full time after graduation, it was here that Brian first honed his technical abilities and was quickly promoted to Field Manager, responsible for expanding and managing the staff of a 45-station CATI phone room as well as all sampling, questionnaire programming and tabbing duties. Working here in custom full-service marketing research, Brian programmed and managed several high profile tracker projects and worked with Hank Zucker, the creator of The Survey System, to develop the CATI program, so it would accommodate the highly custom logic needs of several complex, national tracker studies.

In 1996, Brian made the move to Dallas in search of greater industry opportunities and secured a senior project director position with Savitz Research Center, a Top-50, full-service research company. Here, Brian learned Uncle and Ci3 software as well as used his SPSS skills to become Chief of SPSS Data Processing Services. In 2001, Brian made the move to Survey Tabulations and Research Systems (STARS) and became VP of Marketing Research Services, quickly adding Quantum and Quanvert to his software skills and continuing to develop his SPSS, Excel and management skills to meet the custom needs of clients.

  • Vicki Bernstein is a professional with 30+ years of experience in all aspects of the market research data processing business.

    After graduating from UT Austin (BBA with honors, Dean’s list, marketing major, and MBA, concentrating on marketing research and statistics), Vicki began her marketing research career with an interviewing service where she began her career with practical experience from the ground up. Her knowledge of marketing research encompasses everything from the art of live interviews to phone and mail supervision.

    At Savitz Research Center in Dallas, Vicki took the position of Research Statistician and Planner where she learned Fortran programming, SPSS, Censpac, Symap and COBOL. From there, she moved up to Data Processing Specialist, then DP Manager, learning UNCLE, MS/DOS and Ci2 (CATI software) along the way.

    In 1989, Vicki opened up her own business, Pro Tab, which flourished for eight years. Merging her company with another research company and becoming an Account Executive, Vicki added Quantum and Quanvert to her software repertoire. After seven years there, Vicki partnered with Brian Olson to create the ultimate data processing services company, and PROdata Team, Inc. was born.

    Vicki’s diverse background and wide range of experience enable her to handle any needs your company may have. Conversely, if you have only an idea or broad concept of what you want to accomplish but no idea how to go about it, Vicki can work with you on a custom basis to create the appropriate process to help you achieve your goals.
